REMINDERS/IMPORTANT MATTERS
St. Paul’s is working on a new photo directory (actually, we’re updating our online photo directory and making print copies on demand). We want new pictures of all our families. Justine Michaud has volunteered to take PROFESSIONAL family photographs for us and has graciously setup her equipment in the Media Room. On Sunday mornings and Thursday mornings, you can bring yourself and your family to the church and take care of this important matter. A sign-up form is posted on the bulletin in the narthex affording 10-minute sessions with Justine. PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP! Sessions run throughout this month and into September. We need EVERYONE’S photographs taken (pastor will work with the shut-ins and get their photos taken). ** If you’d like to have your photo taken this Sunday between 10:15 and 10:45, send an email, right away, to [email protected]. Also, when you come for your photo, be sure your family is dressed appropriately. Thank you!
The Stewardship Workshop is just around the corner, and not all of our leadership has signed up. If you serve on the council, the board of elders, trustees, or vision & service, you need to sign up soon. Food will be ordered in advance and the circuit needs accurate numbers. Pastor is also reaching out to circuit churches and other churches in the area who have expressed interest to make sure we have accurate counts. LCEF is going to present briefly during the workshop as well.
Sunday School begins September 6th. Be sure you bring your kids to the ice cream social. Also, while here, head to the Atrium (first room in the Sunday School hallway) and learn about Catechesis of the Good Shepherd! We will also have Sunday Youth Group beginning September 6th for our 7th – 12th graders. CONFIRMATION parents meeting is NEXT SUNDAY the 16th at 11:15. Pastor requires all parents of students going into the 7th or 8th grade, who will be enrolled in Confirmation, to attend.
