I just received word from Pastor Tischer from Zion, Princeton that Rev. Marvin Blaske passed away. Rev. Blaske was pastor at St. Paul’s for a number of years and many of our members knew him.

Prayers for his wife and family during this time of mourning. I will forward visitation and funeral arrangements once I receive them from the district.

Marv was a member of Zion, Princeton and a member of our Rum River Circuit and now is an eternal member of the Church Triumphant in heaven, praise God!  Please keep his family and his church family in your prayers.  He is loved much by many and will be missed greatly, but we rejoice with all of heaven as Marv has entered eternal paradise.  For we do not grieve like those who have no hope, “For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”  (1 Thessalonians 4:14), ESV).   Today, Marv fell asleep in Jesus.
