This year we will be looking at the sixth part of the Small Catechism, the Sacrament of the Altar. Going through the Catechism during Lententide and Adventide is a tradition in the Lutheran church and especially important today as less people engage the Catechism or the Scripture on a regular basis.

For Ash Wednesday we will introduce the series but focus our time on contrition.

For the second midweek Lent service we will answer the question, “What is the Lord’s Supper” and look at the catechism and passages from the Scripture. We will continue asking different questions about the Sacrament for every week of Lent.
