• The devil lies to us in many ways. In the sermon, pastor discusses a few of the many ways and relates his lies to one big event in world history. What is this one big event?
• What are the four different ways pastor discusses in which the devil lies? Keep in mind, there are more than four.
• Do Christians fall for these lies, and if so, have you found yourself falling for these lies?

• On the Mount of Transfiguration, what biblical figures appear and speak to Jesus in the presence of the three disciples?
• Why were these two biblical figures there? What aspect of ancient times do they represent?
• According to 2 Peter 1, how can we be confident that God has preserved the Holy Scripture throughout the ages?
• Is Jesus’ transfiguration further confirmation that we can fully trust God’s Word and trust that the Scripture is truly inspired, inerrant, perfect, and profitable for our faith and life as believers?
